Located in South America, a continent known for talented soccer players, Bolivia cannot be ranked together with Brazil or Argentina but this country has top talents. Bolivia has participated in three World Cups since this tournament was established.

They qualified for the FIFA World Cup on three occasions, in 1930, 1950 and 1994. Bolivia has also played in six matches at the Finals, they lost five and drew one with their only goal being against Spain in 1994. However, they won’t be participating in the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup. 

The South American country has a lot of great footballers who are considered the best Bolivian soccer players ever. Surprisingly, there have never been any Bolivian footballers in the Premier League, a league that is considered the best in the world.

1. Jesus Bermudez Torrez

Jesus Bermudez was a professional Bolivian soccer player who played as a goalkeeper. He is ranked among the most decorated players from Bolivia to have embraced the soccer world.

Jesus was a member of the Bolivian national team in the 1926 South American Championship. He also participated in the 1927 South American Championship and the 1930 FIFA World Cup.

He was excellent at making huge saves during matches as his reflexes were very perfect as well as he commanded his defence properly. Jesus made 45 goal saves in eight games.

2. Carlos Emilio Lampe Porras

Carlos Lampe was born in Santa Cruz de la Sierra on 17th March 1987. He is a soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Atlético Tucuman and the Bolivia national team.

Carlos is a hulk while in his goal post with his huge stature giving him more advantage of making impressive saves. He has great reflexes and can play as a sweep goalkeeper which is a new revolution for modern-day soccer players in that position.

In his senior soccer career, Carlos has garnered more than one hundred appearances and has a couple more clean sheets. However, he has never played in the top European Leagues.

3. Miguel Angel Terceros Acuna

The 2004-born youngster plays as either an attacking midfielder or a forward for the under-20 squad of Brazilian club members and the Bolivia national team. Miguel is regarded as a huge talented soccer player who will play for top clubs across Europe.

He has one appearance on his national team but has a couple of appearances for Santos after turning 18 years. Miguel is not that heavily built, but his dribbling, skills and lightning speed make him a very versatile striker.

4. Ramiro Vaca Ponce

Ramiro Ponce is a young talented professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Beerschot in the Challenger Pro League. He is a very top young player who always trains hard to reach top levels.

Ramiro is not blessed with that height which might be an advantage for bulk defenders but he terrorises the opponents with his skills and talent. The young player has slightly more than one hundred senior career appearances and fourteen goals to his name.

5. Marc Francois Enoumba

Marc Francois is a soccer player who plays for Always Ready football club as a defender. He was born in Cameroon but lived in Bolivia for five years which gave him a chance to represent the Bolivian national team.

Marc has presented the Bolivian national team since 2021 and made eleven appearances in which he has scored once. Standing at an average height, Marc Francois is a tough opponent who works out the opponents while attacking.

His brilliant finesse passes and shots make him a great player. However, he has no experience in the European Leagues.

6. Marcelo Martins Moreno

The 35 years old is a professional footballer who plays for Paraguayan Primera Division club Cerro Porteno as their striker. He is also the captain of the Bolivian national team.

Marcelo is considered one of the greatest Bolivian players of all time with his contribution to the national team and the clubs he has played for. A towering striker, Marcelo is a soccer player who usually causes trouble to his opponents.

He cannot be beaten in the air and his strike is always so powerful and ends up behind the goal nets. FIFA 23 ranks Marcelo at an overall 72 points.

7. Alejandro Saul Chumacero

Alejandro is a professional soccer player who plays for the Chilean club Union Espanola and the Bolivian national team as a midfielder. He is not a towering midfielder but he is exceptionally good at moving the ball forward and creating chances.

Alejandro has had more than two hundred professional appearances since he made his professional debut. Like the other Bolivian soccer players, Alejandro Saul Chumacero has never played for any top European club.

8. Fernando Saucedo

Fernando Javier Saucedo Pereyra was born on 15th March 1990 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. He is a professional soccer player who operates as a midfielder for Always Ready football club.

Growing up in his hometown, Fernando chose to work on his talent and improve his skills as he progressed. He is a versatile and skilful soccer player who contributes more in the offensive as well as in the defence. Fernando has a rating of 70 from FIFA even though he will not be participating in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Wayar is a professional soccer player who operates as a right back for The Strongest football club. Diego can play as a right-back or as a defensive midfielder. He began his career as a forward but was later given new roles in which he thrives well.

Diego was first converted into a midfielder because of his defensive attributes and later moved to the right-back position which fits him. He is an excellent and versatile player who causes trouble to opponents with his pace and skills.

10. Marvin Bejarano

Marvin Orlando Bejarano Jimenez is a Bolivian footballer playing as a left wing-back for The Strongest football club in the Bolivian Primera Division. Orlando is the kind of player who can initiate attacks rapidly and also defend well.

He is an all-round player as his contribution to the team and his teammates have always been lauded. Orlando is quick on the ball, can track the ball back to win and also provides strings of balls into the opponents’ penalty boxes.
