I’m Brian Feutz, a popular writer covering travel, retirement, technology, and finance. I retired from a technology career and have since become a six-time “Top Writer” on Medium, a guest speaker on podcasts, and received recognition for both non-fiction and fiction writing.
My wife and I live on an island in the breathtaking beauty of Washington State’s Puget Sound. We travel and explore our own and other countries and publish insights that offer unique (and sometimes humorous) perspectives that entertain and inform.
Have you ever been in a Mexican jail? I have and I don’t recommend it. I’ve also been stranded in Vienna, lost in Croatia, struggled through an earthquake in San Francisco, explored caves in Belize, and caught COVID in Zihuatanejo. I’ve lived as an exchange student and hosted three students from around the world. Life is full of triumphs, turmoil, and surprises – and I enjoy writing about them.
