OK folks, don’t hate me as I venture into critiquing TV shows!

And my first one is? A total disaster called True Lies. Well, as they used to sing at the Miss America pageant, “Everyone Can’t Be A Winner” and this one certainly is not. Not even a runner-up.

I understand that the pilot of any show has to set the characters and overall premise but this one, IMHO, was all over the boards. I tried to give it a second chance, but dear lord, even worse than the pilot. It was as scattered as the pilot. The initial trailers were more compelling.

What went wrong, you ask? First, absolutely no chemistry between the main stars/actors/whatever they are, and second, a totally rambling, unbelievable plot line. As they say in ballet, “Can we stay on point, please?” LOL
