1. The founder of the theme park is a games manufacturer

The Ravensburger Spieleland theme park is situated in Meckenbeuren in Baden-Wurttemberg and was founded by Ravensburger Ag, a renowned board games manufacturer.  The theme park itself is operated and managed by Ravensburger AG which was opened and has been in operation since 1998.

They are famous manufacturers of parlor games, puzzles, and books, among other products. They had a different vision of how the theme park ought to look and aimed at creating unconventional amusement themes with unique characteristics.

The Mouse character in Captain Bluebear’s Wonderland televised in the Children’s German TV show comes alive at “Here comes the Mouse on the Moser” free-fall tower at the Ravensburger Spieleland.  Adults and children who enjoy the program have an opportunity to meet and ask questions about the Mouse and the Elephant trying to find out in detail about the lives of these characters.

3. Alternative Rides

While most amusement park enjoys and look for the thrill of speed and going down into rapids and tunnels, the park also offers alternative slow rides. At the park children driving school as well as the play equipment can be found at the Bosch Car Service Mini- Werkstatt and the Max Mauseschreck offering slow-moving bicycle or tractor-shaped toys that are replicated at home.

The atmosphere at the park opens parents and children to a world where age is put to a standstill. Parents can have a go at Bessie the Cow by trying to win the milking competition, by trying to see who will get to milk more as well as see how much it can produce.  In addition, the park offers parents the space to play against each other or their kids in a soccer game at the sports complex.

In one part of the theme park families can have their picnic and their food and after going on a spree at the water body they put out a fire by pumping water.

5. Enticing the minds of kids and adults

Several experience programs are put in place to let children feel the thrill of being amused while being educated. The program offers mental stimulation that is not based on sugars from candies or ice cream. The amusement park offers and encourages parents to spend their money on discounted products like board games, puzzles, or books.

In addition to alternative treats, the park offers sugar treats through fruits which are in plenty and are sold by vendors to help keep the doctor and tooth decay at bay.

Most of the machinery operated in most amusement parks is operated by an operator who is usually out of reach, the Ravensburger Spieleland theme park is all about hands-on experience.  The most interesting and unusual activity at the park involves a few basic instructions where the child as well as, the parent are taught to operate the levers of a backhoe, turn the bucket side to side, down and up, and even scoop up giant piles of soil or gravel.

7. Resting and relaxing tables

Parents running around with kids trying to keep up understand that age has caught up when they try to run after nimble legs powered up by energetic young bodies. This is evident in the easily winded parents in dire need of resting up.  The theme park has more than a few areas within the Ravensburger Spieleland where families can regroup, take a break and work on puzzles or play cards on the large tables and benches.

Most children daydreams of walking up in the air or having a house out in the woods. Their desires and daydreams are catered into a reality at the Adventure Land playground where adults and kids relive their fantasy of being knights on adventurous swinging bridges and climbing up tall wooden towers.

They also have a giant labyrinth that they have to try to figure out the best way to get out of the maze together as a team.

9. The biggest playroom in the World

 Ravensburg located in Southern Germany became an Imperial Free City in 1276 and has a 5.6-mile squared area In this spacious land there exists a zoo place where one can get to pet the animals as well as enjoy fun rides. In 1998 the main attraction was for the family to enjoy during the day and go home, but in 2016, it changed to offer a stay overnight at the park’s resort.

With over 70 amusements play theme spaces for kids to play and enjoy, ranging from 3-D movie halls to joy rides, Ravensburger Spieleland offers so much more for the family away from their momentarily busy and monotonous life. The price at the gate ranges from 38 to 45 US Dollars per adult which is included in the room rate during the stay.
