Most Indonesian thieves not only loot the victims but also murder and torture them. Some of the Indonesian offenders acknowledged that they planned their crimes. 1. Johny Indo

With his robbery case in 70 periods, Johny Indo became one of Indonesia’s most renowned villains. From 1970 through 1980, he robbed some wealthy individuals and stole their gold. He grabbed more than 129 kg of gold and claims to have shared it with others in need.

Despite this, Indonesian police detained Johny Indo because robbery is a crime that no one should do. He was imprisoned at Nusakambangan and attempted to flee. However, after a few days, the police were able to apprehend him, and he was sentenced to 14 years in prison.

2. Kusni Kadut

Kusni Kadut became one of Indonesia’s most renowned criminals with his robbery case. In around 80 periods, he was reported to have frequently robbed some of the jewels from wealthy individuals. He robbed a lot of gems and gave them to needy people in a horrible way.

As a result, the police decided to put Kusni Kadut in jail for his crime. He was shot dead by a police officer’s pistol after attempting to flee the prison.

Robot Gedek had become one of Indonesia’s most infamous criminals up to this point. His official name is Siswanto, but he is better known as Robot Gedek. He was arrested in 1996 for murder and robbery.

Robot Gedek’s crime was documented, with around 12 persons slain by him at the time.

4. Ahmad Suradji

Ahmad Suradji seldom had to go out and find victims because of his shamanic abilities. The majority of them sought him for assistance in bettering their lives. Because word of his healing abilities spread across his hamlet and surrounding communities ladies travelled from all around to seek his assistance.

Ahmad Suradji is one of Indonesia’s most known criminals, having succeeded in making people fearful of his existence.  He tortured and murdered his victims in the name of weird shamanism, such as the Indonesian rain shaman. He felt that if he killed so many women, he would grow stronger.

Between 1986 and 1997, Ahmad Suradji, also known as the AS shaman, killed over 70 people. The majority of them are women, with around 42 ladies. In 2008, the authorities decided to kill him and sentence his wife to life in prison.

5. Baekuni

Baekuni (born 1961), sometimes known as Babe, is a serial murderer from Indonesia who disfigured and sexually molested 14 young boys.

Baekuni, the son of a poor farmer in Magelang, Central Java, was teased as “stupid” because he frequently skipped class. He quit school and went to Jakarta because he couldn’t take the insults anymore. He stayed in Banteng Square until he was forcibly sodomized by a thug one day. His proclivity for paedophilia and situational necrophilia was impacted by this event.

Because of his illegal assault, Baekuni became one of Indonesia’s most renowned criminals. He confessed that he enjoys having intercourse with males, whether they are men or youngsters. The most terrifying aspect of him is that he will murder the victim after sexually assaulting them.

The most disturbing aspect about Baekuni is that he will rape his victims whether they are alive or dead. He acknowledged committing his crime in 1993, and in 2010, the court sentenced him to life in prison.

6. Ryan Jombang

Very Idham Henyansyah (born February 1, 1978), better known as Ryan, is an Indonesian serial murderer.  After being caught in 2008, Henyansyah confessed to killing 11 people and was sentenced to death by an Indonesian court.  He is currently awaiting execution at Cirebon’s Kesambi Penitentiary.

Ryan Jombang became one of Indonesia’s most renowned offenders as a result of his mutilation crime. In the recent decade, he has grown extremely popular, such as during the Jember fashion festival in East Java. He confessed his crime in court before the judge for his homosexual delight and then murdered the victim by mutilating their body. Ryan Jombang was videotaped killing 11 guys who he said were his homosexual couple. The court decided to kill him in April 2019 for his violent and torturous crimes.

In 2020, Indonesia’s crime rate was 94 per 100,000 residents. Indonesia is a reasonably secure country, with a crime rate that has been declining since reaching a seven-year high of 149 per 100,000 people in 2011.
