The Joel Nafuma Refugee Center in Rome’s St. Pauli, a home for many people who have lost homes, is having a fundraiser dinner on May 24. Built at Walls Church in St. Pauli, this place is a haven for refugees and asylum seekers in Rome. The refugee center offers a variety of services for men, women, and children, including necessities such as food and clothing.

Those who are interested are also taken through language classes to become well-versed in the local language for easy maneuvering.

However, this is not just a fundraiser but a special culinary event that will celebrate Palestinian and Syrian cuisine. It is at this event that you will be able to see the rich flavors and traditions of these two cultures. 

Be a part of this event and witness the refugees as they share their life stories and how they have started a new life in the city. 

As you visit, you will indulge in mouthwatering dishes that have been prepared by talented and gifted chefs in the city. There will also be live music and cultural performances, offering attendees much-needed entertainment. Lastly, the donations will be between twenty and thirty pounds.
