Is this what the actress meant by “something fresh”?

Trends quickly change on different social media platforms, especially Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok; any social media user would attest to the same. Lately, the Wednesday actress, Jenna Ortega, has captivated the hearts of many. Wednesday is the current hit series show on Netflix. When the show was released in November 2022, Ortega鈥檚 role as Wednesday Addams received terrific reviews, and her new Instagram followers are proof.

Recap about the show: it first debuted on November 23^rd, 2022. The show became one of the top-streamed series of all time on Netflix with over 341.23 million hours viewed in its first week! According to Cosmopolitan news, the Series quickly became the most-watched English-language series for the streamer in that amount of time, surpassing the record set by Stranger Things. Interestingly, Jenna had accepted the role of Wednesday hesitantly. According to what she told The Times, 鈥淚 had done so much TV in my life all I鈥檝e ever wanted to do is a film”. However,  one person made her join the show – Tim Burton. It goes without saying that the two get along very well. She went on and landed the role in May 2021.

When the show debuted, the first thing you would see on TikTok and Instagram was a video of someone performing the trending “Wednesday dance.” The dancers were everywhere! It was all anyone would talk about. Others went to the extent of dressing up in Wednesday’s dress, hair,  and even got her makeup, all in order to execute the dance with a bit of their flare to it.

The dance has since become popular and as a result Jenna been asked to dance it severally. However,  according to Teen Vogue, Jenna does not want to dance it anymore. “I just feel like I don’t want to do it because I think it’s time to do something fresh” Ortega added.

The video has since gone viral and is trending on Instagram, receiving praises from fans worldwide. The hype about the short clip is linked to how the images are flawless, and the artist is talented. When the video is played, the artist shows the images one after another giving an illusion of a video of the actress dancing the 鈥淲ednesday dance.鈥� The  artist behind the video is talented and deserves the attention it is getting . It definitely took him some time to come up with the best developed photos.
