Good news for wanderers with South America on their bucket list! British Airways (BA) has announced an expansion of its services between London Heathrow (LHR) and key destinations in Brazil and Argentina, starting this October 2024.

This move signifies BA’s commitment to strengthening connectivity between the UK and South America, offering more options for both business and leisure travelers.

More Flights to São Paulo

Passengers flying to São Paulo, Brazil’s bustling financial hub, will see the most significant change. Currently, the airline operates seven flights a week on this route. Come October, that number will increase to ten, providing greater flexibility and potentially more competitive fares for travelers planning their Brazilian adventures. Services to Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires are also set for upgrade.

‘We know there is growing demand for travel between the UK, Brazil and Argentina and we are confident that both business and leisure customers will enjoy these improvements,’ British Airways stated.
