De Gea recorded his 16th clean sheet in the tournament this season as he and United shut out Wolves in a 2-0 victory over Julen Lopetegui’s team at Old Trafford.

In 2022–23, Liverpool, Newcastle, and Arsenal each have three games left, and Alisson, Nick Pope, and Aaron Ramsdale are all on 13.

The former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper has three more games to play and one more clean sheet to add in order to tie or pass De Gea for the accolade, although any of those may theoretically overtake him.
