Experience Ancient Rome while in Budapest at The Roman Lapidary Exhibition 

The Roman Lapidary, a magnificently restored piece of Komárno’s defence system situated in the southern section of the bastion, provides an enlightening look into the rich past of the Roman Empire. According to the , Roman stone sculptures, tombstones, altar stones, dedication plates, sarcophagi, and replicas from the second to fourth centuries AD are on display in the show.

The majority of the displays at the Roman Lapidary are from the Roman boundary defences built at Brigetio and Celemantia, which were built close to Komárno. These relics offer priceless insights into the cultural customs, theological convictions, and artistic accomplishments of ancient Roman civilization.
