Dine & Picnic on Budapest’s Liberty Bridge (May 3-5)

From May 3rd to May 5th, Budapest’s famous Szabadság híd (Liberty Bridge) will become a bustling pedestrian centre, providing a delicious blend of dining and picnicking experiences against the scenic backdrop of the Danube River.

The iconic Liberty Bridge will once more be free of cars, allowing both locals and tourists to enjoy its freeing ambiance and take part in a variety of entertaining events that bring back memories of summertime fun.

This three-day festival has something for everyone, from thrilling live performances to kid-friendly entertainment. The Folk Music Department of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music will bring engaging freestyle dancers and their exceptional students’ mesmerising folk music to the bridge on Thursday, May 3.

On Friday, May 4th, the celebrations will continue with a lineup that is sure to please both young and old. According to , in the afternoon, kids can enjoy Pepito the Clown’s antics, while in the evening, Rolando’s captivating magic shows and thrilling street circus acts take place. DJ Panda takes the stage as the sun sets and spins music well into the night.
