Farmleigh House in Dublin is hosting an Easter event on Sunday, March 31st, and Monday, April 1st, 2024. The event promises to be fun-filled with lots of activities for people of all ages. Visitors will enjoy the beauty of the gardens while also indulging in food, craft, and plant markets.

The Farmleigh Food & Craft Markets will be held in the Farmyard from 10 am to 5 pm on both days, giving visitors a chance to sample a wide range of locally made foods as well as purchase unique handmade gifts. The Farmleigh Plant Fair will take place in the Paddocks from 10 am to 5 pm on both days, where visitors can purchase garden plants for the Springtime.

The event also features comedy shows, puppet shows, storytelling, and music performances. Danny Kehoe & Paul Tylak will be entertaining visitors with Dublin Comedy (Improv) outdoors at 1 pm on both days. There will also be a Children’s Comedy Show outdoors at 3 pm.

The Custardpie Theatre Co will host a Puppet Show at the Cowshed Theatre at 12 noon, 1.45 pm, and 3.30 pm on both days. Visitors can also enjoy storytelling with Helena Byrne at the Old Kitchen at 12.45 pm, 2.30 pm, and 4.15 pm on both days. It is important to note that Puppet shows and Storytelling are free, but spaces are limited, and tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis from the Motor House Reception in the courtyard.

In addition, visitors can enjoy the Birds of Prey exhibition from Newgrange Falconry at the Donkey Field from 12 pm to 4 pm on both days. Music in the Bandstand will also be on offer, with Blanchardstown Brass Band performing on Sunday, and The Stedfast Band playing on Monday, both from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Pleasure Grounds.
