The results of the  gastronomic competition are in, recognizing the best restaurants Lisbon has to offer. The awards were accorded to top restaurants after several months of visits to registered restaurants by a jury. Some of the factors that were evaluated include the cuisine itself, quality/price ratio, service and atmosphere.

Seven restaurants received the top distinction, the coveted “3 Forks” rating, which is the maximum from the competition. This year’s winners include some familiar names – popular Michelin-starred establishments like Alma (boasting two Michelin stars) and Cura, Kabuki, and Sála by João Sá (each with one Michelin star). But the recognition wasn’t limited to Michelin heavyweights. Restaurants like Lapa, Pabe, and Varanda do Ritz also secured the prestigious “3 Forks” award, proving Lisbon’s diverse culinary scene is thriving.

The Lisboa à Prova competition is a highly respected event within the Portuguese culinary world. Winning a “Fork” signifies exceptional quality, making these restaurants a must-try for any foodie visiting Lisbon.
