This impressive choice of venue added an extra layer of magic to their special day, as the park, owned by the Barcelona City Council, is nestled atop the Tibidabo in the Collserola Ridge, offering a breathtaking backdrop for their nuptials.

In a unique and inspiring move, the couple decided to open their celebration to strangers by creating an event on Meetup, a social media platform designed to host and organize in-person and virtual activities for people with shared interests.

Remarkably, the invitation resonated with countless individuals, and despite around 220 people confirming their attendance online, a commendable 60 guests ultimately joined the couple to witness their union, demonstrating the power of connection and the welcoming spirit of Barcelona.

With their marriage certificate already obtained in China, the ceremony in Barcelona served as a symbolic celebration of their love, as explained by the groom, Zheng Yasui, who stated, “When I knew that I wanted a destination wedding outside of China, Barcelona was the first choice to come to our mind.”
