Greenwood has not played for United since January 2022, with the club conducting its own internal investigation to determine its next steps.

A statement read: 鈥淢anchester United notes the decision of the Crown Prosecution Service that all charges against Mason Greenwood have been dropped.

鈥淭he club will now conduct its own process before determining the next steps. We will not make any further comment until that process is complete.鈥�

It was reported earlier in March that clubs in Turkey had made loan offers for the forward. However, The Athletic have now said that United rejected these approaches amid the continuation of their investigation.

Greenwood鈥檚 future at Old Trafford remains up in the air, but the club is thought to be weighing up his return to the first team.

Meanwhile, Mason Greenwood has continued to collect his 鈧�70,000-a-week salary despite his suspension, and the remaining worth of his contract is thought to be 鈧�8.1m, which United may have to pay if they choose to remove him at the end of the season.
