East London鈥檚 beloved restaurant, Pidgin, is set to close its doors for the last time on August 18th. Pidgin, known for its innovative and different weekly menus and commitment to seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, has been a Hackney staple since its opening in 2015. The restaurant quickly gained a reputation for its exceptional food and warm, welcoming atmosphere.
In an , the restaurant announced the closure, extending gratitude to the team and clientele for the support. While the closure is undoubtedly a loss for the London dining scene, there is a silver lining. The space will be taken over by the restaurant鈥檚 current head chef, Drew Snaith, and former manager, Hannah Kowalski. The duo plans to open a new restaurant called Sesta in September.
