GSW鈥檚 Unique Playing Style A Major Influence On Victor Wembanyama

When you come to think of how many things you got yourself into doing just because you watch someone else do it, I bet your list is as endless as mine.

Wembanyama being inspired by the 2010s Golden State Warriors comes as no surprise. Coached by Steve Kerr, the Warriors played in five NBA championship finals and won three of them in 10 years!

GSW is a storied franchise as they toppled the 1995-96 Michael Jordan-led Chicago Bulls for most wins by an NBA team in a season.

The Warriors finished the 2015-16 regular season with a record of 73-9 against that of the 1995-96 Bulls which stood at 72-10.
That goes to show you how lethal the 2010s Warriors were, no wonder Victor fell in love with their game.

Wembanyama is projected to be the first overall pick in the June 22, 2023 draft with Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs and the Houston Rockets all having the highest probability of landing the first overall pick.

If Victor was wishing to join the Golden State Warriors then we might as well be bearers of bad news since the Warriors get a draft from 15th position and below.
