In the podcast, Armchair Expert with Dax Shepherd, Jenna Ortega said that 鈥渋t made no sense鈥� for her character to be part of the love triangle in Season 1. With Season 2 of the Netflix hit on the way, many are curious about the script and whether it will be half as good as Season 1 which premiered in November 2022. Wednesday a show by Tim Burton, is one of the most watched Netflix English language series which features Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams of the Addams family as she tries to master her psychic ability while solving a murder case involving her parents.

The actress has been brutally honest about casting in the Netflix series. She has been to several interviews making headlines in Hollywood and even across the world. The 20-year-old has gained massive followers who love her role, and she has even taken over TikTok trends.  She must be living the dream for someone who wasn鈥檛 even keen on taking up the role to start with. As The Sunday Times put it, 鈥渟he was not interested in the role initially but Tim Burton convinced her otherwise.鈥�

From the show鈥檚 very beginning, we get the idea of what the Addams family looks like- the exact opposite of a typical family. The Addams family doesn鈥檛 love nor support each other and is a bit whimsical.

Some Wednesday Season 1 fans binged on all 8 episodes at a go which attest to how addictive the show is. They believe that Jenna nails the role of Wednesday Addams with her lifeless eyes, pale face, and her cold demeanor.

The storyline follows her first time joining Nevermore Academy where her parents were both students. Wednesday Addams tries to solve the mystery behind the killing spree of a monster and equally solve the old mystery of a murder that happened involving her father. On top of this, she has a love triangle going on; one of them is a monster terrorizing everyone.

There are some fans that don鈥檛 want Wednesday to have any love interest at all -no more Tyler or Xavier or even Enid. They feel that this would take away 奥别诲苍别蝉诲补测鈥檚 gothic and cold character. Then again, there are some fans that want to see the 鈥淓nid romance鈥� blossoming.

Speaking on the Thursday episode of The Tonight鈥檚 Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Jenna talked about ideas for brainstorming. She talked about how there is a writer鈥檚 room being put together.  And that the writers are still deciding on the show鈥檚 new storyline.

Season 2 trailer has not yet been released yet but we do know that it will be a while before it premieres due to planning. Again, judging from the time it took to produce and film Season 1, it might be close to 8 months before Season 2 premieres. For now, we can only speculate what the new season has in store.
