The world-renowned Royal Albert Hall in London will come alive with the sound of classical music on 6th April 2024 as the Ministry of Sound Classical returns for a special concert. This iconic venue has played host to some of the biggest names in music, dance, sport, and politics since its opening in 1871. It is now registering over 1.7 million visitors every year, with millions more experiencing its events through broadcasts, recordings, and new media channels.

The Ministry of Sound is known for its lively club nights, but it is also tackling classical music in two special concerts this evening. The Royal Albert Hall will be the venue for orchestral renditions of the greatest dance compilations of all time, including tunes by the likes of The Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim. This is the third time the Ministry of Sound Classical will be performing at the Royal Albert Hall, following two sellout shows in 2023.

The Ministry of Sound Classical is a unique concept that brings together the world of classical music and dance music. The greatest dance compilations of all time will hit the stage with your favourite dance tracks re-orchestrated, re-imagined, and re-lived. The Annual Classical, set to a thrilling laser light production, will be brought to life by the stunning 50-piece London Concert Orchestra and sensational vocalists.

The event is not recommended for children under 5. Customers 14 years and below will not be permitted to enter the standing Arena for this event, even when accompanied by an adult. All customers aged 14 years or below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over.

The Royal Albert Hall is a registered charity held in trust for London’s benefit. Its purpose is to promote the Arts and Sciences and preserve and enhance their Grade I listed building. The venue is open to the public during the day through tours of the building, live music in Verdi, and free exhibitions. It is also home to the Elgar Room, a state-of-the-art small-scale performance space.
