Passengers using Prague’s public transport will have the pleasure of sharing love messages at Prague’s Palackého náměstí tram stop. The stop will throughout May remain a hub of affection decorated with balloons, hearts, and love messages. Rebranded as Zamilovaná (In Love), it encourages passengers to value the intimacy and warmth of everyday life.

This move continues the My Time campaign focused on reminding travelers of how important our time is. The campaign also underscores the significance of public transport in our lives. For example, connections build with people while on travel that later become close to us.

“Someone knits in the tram, some play games, some simply switch it off and just look out the window. With the campaign, we want to remind you that traveling by public transport is a daily opportunity to use this time better than being stressed behind the wheel of a car,” explained Prague’s Deputy Mayor for Transport Zdeněk Hřib.

The My Time campaign has been successful with other initiatives like the Christmas rebranding of Prague’s Strossmayerovo náměstí stop. Over Easter, the Hradčanská stop was decorated for the festivities. Though these were one-day events, the Palackého náměstí tram stop dubbed “Loved Stop” will mark the campaign for an entire month.

“We will turn the tram stop at Palackého náměstí into a stop in love full of hearts and loving messages for those we love. Or that we would like to know,” read a press release by Prague Integrated Transport.

Prague’s Integrated Transport encourages passengers to express their deepest emotions and desires to those they care about. Not only to people they know but also to those whom they may have met and would like to get to know them better.

Additionally, commuters can stop by and leave messages of love, hidden feelings, wishes, dreams, or greetings for people they have crossed paths with. Besides physical messages, passengers can take part through social media. Using the hashtag #nastupazustan (boardandstay) on Instagram, passengers can share their photos, messages, and kisses.

Prague’s integrated public transport system urges commuters to always create room for love and connection amid the rush of life. Through the Zamilovaná stop, passengers are reminded to value every connection whether with loved ones or brief chance encounters.
