Commuters traveling on the Piccadilly line should brace for disruptions this weekend as a section of the line will be closed for essential maintenance work.
Starting Saturday, August 17th, and continuing until Sunday, September 1st, the section of the Piccadilly line between Wood Green and Cockfosters will be completely shut down. This closure is necessary to allow engineers to carry out vital track repairs and upgrades, which are expected to improve the reliability and efficiency of the line in the long term.
