The Pittsburgh Steelers are gearing up for their awaited return to the island of Ireland with the announcement of their second-ever Fáilte Steelers Watch Party. Following the success of their sold-out fan event in November 2023, the Steelers, in partnership with Ticketmaster, are set to host the much-anticipated sequel at Dublin’s iconic Croke Park on Sunday, September 29th.

The event is scheduled to coincide with the Steelers’ game against the Indianapolis Colts, with festivities kicking off at 4 p.m. and the game commencing at 6 p.m. Due to the overwhelming response to last year’s party, organizers are advising fans to act swiftly to secure their spots as space is limited.

The Hogan Stand Suite will play host to the game, offering attendees a unique experience complete with multi-screen coverage, game analysis, entertainment, and hospitality. Fans can also look forward to immersing themselves in the Steelers’ game day traditions and rubbing shoulders with Steelers alumni in attendance. Additionally, a special pop-up shop will be open for fans to purchase officially licensed team merchandise, adding to the excitement of the event.

Dan Rooney, Steelers Director of Business Development & Strategy, expressed the team’s enthusiasm for the upcoming Watch Party, highlighting the opportunity for fans to come together and partake in the revered traditions of Steelers game days. Croke Park Stadium Director, Peter McKenna, echoed this sentiment, conveying his delight in welcoming the Steelers back for another thrilling event at the renowned venue.

 This fan Watch Party marks the Steelers’ continued engagement with the Irish market, following their inclusion in the NFL’s ‘Global Markets Program.’ Notably, the team has already conducted various fan and football educational activities, including a Kicking Clinic in April and American Football Youth Camps in Cork and Belfast this June. The Steelers have also made strides in expanding their presence by announcing their fourth-round draft pick live from Co Kerry and partnering with Virgin Media Television to broadcast three of the team’s pre-season games live and free-to-air for Irish fans for the first time.
