Visitors to Prague can celebrate the annual ranking by the Top 50 Pizza Awards. The May 2024 ranking listed Prague鈥檚 Pizza Nuova among Europe鈥檚 top 50 pizzerias.

According to the guide, the survey involved anonymous judging visits to different pizza spots across Europe. Pizza Nuova in Prague ranked number 34.

Located in the heart of the Capital, it offers traditional Neapolitan pizza in a very pleasant setting: the environment is bright, and elegant yet not overdone, dominated by the classic Neapolitan oven with its half-moon-shaped opening that allows for excellent and quick pizza cooking, “50 Top Pizza commented about Pizza Nuova in Prague.

Besides the ranking, some of these pizzerias received other recognitions for their excellence. For instance, Via Toledo Enopizzeria led by Francesco Cal貌 received the Pizza of the Year award for the innovative 鈥減izza de nero鈥� creation. Baldoria, helmed by Ciro Cristiano bagged the award for best pasta dish.

Spain was the most represented country with about 7 establishments featured. England, France, and Germany followed, each having over 4 facilities on the guide. With the high number of Italy鈥檚 pizzerias at least 63,000 facilities, no Italian restaurant was included in the survey.

Additionally, later in the year, the 100 best pizzerias in the world ranking is highly anticipated. Further, the top 20 in the 鈥�50 Top Pizza Europe鈥� ranking will receive automatic qualification. Teatro Mercadante in Naples will host the gala to crown the 100 best pizzerias in the world in September.
