Rome has a splendid history that is brought to life at night with the Viaggio nel Foro di Cesare, which translates to Journey to the Forum of Caesar. On the nights from May 22 to September 22 every year, Romans remember the reign of one of the most famous leaders in the Roman Empire’s history, Julius Caesar. This is a multimedia show that goes back into history to show the daily life of Julius Caesar, his era, and the Roman ruins.

For four months, you will witness how people carried out their daily lives during Caesar’s regime. To make it interesting, the show incorporates modern-day excavations from the twentieth century that brought these ruins to life. 

These landmarks were the meeting places when Caesar was in power. Despite looking old and dead, they are brought to life on these special nights. You will be made to travel back in history to more than two thousand years ago. 

The Forums of Caesar were built in 46 BC and became one of the biggest meeting places during the Roman Empire. This was a busy place where people met to exchange goods on the markets. This was also the place where religious people met in the temples to connect with the creator. Today, the place has become a venue to look back on history.

The light shows in the modern Roman days try to recreate this forum and make it look as if it was more than two thousand years ago. History lovers and those interested in knowing the history of the eternal city have a chance to make memories this year.
