Uber Cruise Sets Sail Just in Time for the 2024 Paris Olympics

Uber, the on-demand transport app is broadening its offerings with the introduction of new water-based transport services throughout Europe. Reports from indicates that the transportation company is launching a variety of boat services, from touristy cruises to luxurious yachts, allowing users to access more remote destinations.

Just in time for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, Uber Cruise is set to offer a complimentary one-hour trip along the Seine River. From July 12 to August 3, passengers can admire Paris’s iconic landmarks such as Notre Dame, the Louvre, and the Eiffel Tower while sipping complimentary wine.

Uber’s Limo Boat service will offer an alternative to cruise ships in Paris. Starting in July, tourists can use their Uber app to request a boat on-demand, with prices starting at €120 per trip for up to six people. The service operates daily from 8 am to 8 pm and provides nearly 200 dedicated pick-up and drop-off points, making it convenient for exploring the Venetian Lagoon.

Uber is also making strides in Ibiza. Starting this August, Uber in Ibiza offers a premium experience with the Uber yacht. Groups of up to eight can enjoy an eight-hour journey aboard a Sunseeker Yacht, complete with a personal skipper, complimentary Champagne, and locally sourced artisan snacks.
