Wembanyama has been at the top of his game ever since he joined Metropolitans 92 for the 2022-23 season where he averaged: 21.6 points per game,10.5 rebounds per game and 3.1 blocks per game.

This form has been pivotal in ensuring that Metropolitans 92 stay at the top of the France LNB Pro A finishing the 2022-2023 season in second place just behind Monaco.

This far Wembanyama has gotten them is commendable but the journey to the championship is not a few steps closer to the finish line.

For your average player, final games put in the urge to win, the psyche to dominate and get the final prize. But for Metropolitans 92, that does not seem like the case.

Comprising of a spirited squad with generational talent in Wembanyama, Metropolitans 92 have the potential to beat Monaco if they want to.

Victor Wembanyama will need to resuscitate the beast in him to have the perfect ending to his fairy tale.

The last games of his time in France need to show why he is getting so much hype and should serve as the perfect goodbye to hometown fans.

With all eyes set on Wemby, he has the baggage of leading Metropolitans 92 to the championship. His last games will determine how he is going to fare once he gets to the NBA.

Wembanyama is projected to be the first overall pick come June 22, 2023, when the draft happens.

We are sure that the Spurs have all eyes set on him as they are set to have the first pick in the draft when the day comes.

But in the meantime, Victor will have to be at the top of the game for the sole purpose of having a good show for his fans, all those who have been celebrating him all through his time in France.

The perfect way to say goodbye would be at least to win a championship and leave them celebrating and with something to look up to.
