Singapore Airzone is a world’s first concept-an indoor suspended net playground located in an atrium in a shopping mall.

The Singapore Airzone was developed by attraction specialists and geeks who previously developed and managed world-class attraction experiences.

The Airzone is a leader in the field in areas of indoor playground attraction operation, design and in safety among other features.

The Airzone was opened softly in January 2018 and has so far attracted over 100,000 guests.  The top 10 facts about the Singapore Airzone include the following.

1. The Airzone is Suspended Six Storeys Above Ground

The Airzone is suspended six storeys above ground and offers an opportunity for guests to navigate each zone which are all filled with fun and excitement.  

To get a perspective of how high the Airzone is, there is need to appreciate the height of a six storey building.

A typical six storey building has a height which ranges from 60 feet or 18.28 meters to 90 feet tall.

The height of each six storey building is dependent on the height of the ceiling of each room, the thickness of the walls and lastly the building materials used.

The Airzone which is a concept that was premiered first in Singapore creates a unique experience for young and older guests alike.

The attraction in the Airzone is actually distinct themed zones containing unique games in an elevated playground. Sitting in the atrium space of a shopping mall in between two floor levels the Airzone is simply a jewel.

Guests look up at nets suffixed in the sky above them in the mall which invite them to take up the challenge of playing the attractive games they offer for fun.

The Airzone consists of bouncy nets that span level 2 to level 6 of the mall atrium. The nets slides in such away that they connect one level to the next which offers guests various activities to enjoy.

The over 100 nets playground in the world are suspended outdoors unlike the Singapore Airzone.

Since that Airzone is suspended six storeys above ground, most people are likely to feel a tinge of fear as the nets hosting the unique games are see through.

However, guests need not worry as each layer of nets can hold two fully laden Singapore Commuter buses set side by side.

To add onto safety, the designers added an extra net at the bottom to reassure guests on the safety of the Airzone.

5. Walking on The Floaty Bouncy Nets                 Gives a Unique Sensation

Guests who patronize the Airzone experience a unique sensation while walking on the floaty bouncy nets. The feeling is like a combination of walking on water and walking on its waves at the same time.

While walking on the soft nets’, guests have a feeling of sinking just like walking on water but the next step takes them up due to the elasticity of the nets.

 It’s a strange feeling of a mixture of bouncing and sinking with every step they take.

6. The Airzone Gives a Feeling of Walking           on The Moon

The Airzone which is the world’s first concept to premier in Singapore gives guests the feeling of walking on the moon.

Guests visiting the Airzone can have a splash in the world’s only suspended ball pit especially if they are young or young at heart.

The balls are large enough to ensure they don’t fall through the nets. Even though the balls cannot go outside the Airzone, guests are advised not to make too big a splash as they can end up spending hours fetching the balls.

9. The Airzone Offers an Opportunity to             Take Most Memorable Selfies

Guests to the Airzone have an opportunity to take memorable selfies to post in their social media accounts. 

The selfies are memorable since it is unbelievable when guests tell people they walked five storeys in the air in the middle of a shopping mall atrium.

The Airzone merchandize counter provides mobile phone holders to ensure phones do not fall through the nets and injure those walking on nets below.

10. The Nets Are Designed to Catch Falling           Gymnasts

The nets in the Airzone are designed to catch falling gymnasts and as guests are encouraged not to fear falling on the nets.  In fact, guests are encouraged to fall over severally and bounce as many times as they want.

However, guest must have a weight of below 120 kilograms and those below the age of 5 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Guests are encouraged to climb the nets and walk by themselves for safety reasons.
