The Tiger Brewery is the only brewery in Singapore to produce a lager. In the early days of Tiger Beer, in 1932, it used its recipe for brewing beer. Fraser and Company later bought it. The first Tiger Beer advertisement was made in 1932 and used the famous slogan “For men who think.”

It also boasted about being a German-style beer. You can see a tiger on every bottle of Tiger Beer. The tiger was first introduced in 1944 when the beer celebrated its 10th anniversary.

2.Tiger Beer Is Exported To Over 50 Countries

Tiger beer is exported to over 50 countries, including the United States, Australia, Japan, Canada, and Germany. The beer was first sold in 1968 in Singapore. In 2003, its market share in Singapore was 15%, and its sales totaled $100 million. It has since increased to 24% of the total beer market in Singapore and was one of the most popular beers in 2007, with a sales value of $31 million.

In November 2007, Guinness World Records presented an award to Tiger Brewery as the Asian brewery that sold the most beer worldwide. In 2005 alone, the brewery sold 3.2 million cases of beer worldwide. In 2006, Tiger Beer sales exceeded 4% market share across the Asia Pacific region, one of Asia’s highest records.

In March 2007, it was named as joint sponsor for the Indian Premier League cricket tournament and the country’s largest brewer, United Breweries Group. The brewery’s logo appeared on the team shirts for six IPL teams, including the Kolkata Knight Riders, which the Unbound Group (UBG) owns.

Each year, the Tiger Brewery produces millions of bottles and cans of beer. In 2009, it produced 675,000 bottles and cans of Tiger Beer. The brewery usually gets around 200 deliveries a week.

In 2009, it exported 30 million liters of beer to other countries. This export capacity made up 11 percent of the total of Heineken International’s beverage exports. In addition, the Tiger Brewery is the only brewery in Singapore to first produce a lager.

5.In 2013, the Singapore Government Announced Plans for the Tiger Heritage and Brewery site

In 2013, the Singapore government announced plans for a $530 million complex to be built on the Tiger Heritage and Brewery site, to include retail, office, and commercial space for rent. The plan for the new complex project was officially set to open in 2017.

The new development was designed by architect Iacob as part of a broader plan to redevelop Jurong Industrial Estate into a more vibrant business district with better connectivity.

The Tiger Brewery East is located in the heart of Singapore’s Central Business District (CBD) and houses the Singapore office of Heineken International. The brewery was closed in 2007 when management decided to move its production to Heineken’s breweries in the Philippines and Vietnam.

It has since reopened as an office building known as Tiger Hall, housing commercial tenants including CIMB Bank, BNP Paribas, PSA International, Siemens, and Ramco Systems.

In 1999, it merged with Asia Pacific Breweries and was later taken over by Heineken International. In 1962, Fraser and Neave Limited bought the brewery and renamed it Fraser and Neave Breweries. The brewery was later renamed Asia Pacific Breweries in 1999.

Tiger Brewery was founded in 1855 by Sir Stamford Raffles, and the first Tiger Beer was brewed with the water from a spring found on the property. Although the beer is now brewed exclusively in Singapore, they also produce other brands such as Kingfisher, Strongbow, and Altes.

Tiger Beer has been located on its present site since 1906. Tiger Brewery is part of the Thomson Reuters group of companies. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Tiger Beer has probably the world’s largest tapestry made from tiger skin adorning the main reception area. Japanese artist Yukiko Ishii created the tapestry. In 2002 and 2003, a series of tigers were released into Singapore’s Queen Elizabeth Parks.
