The AJ Hackett Sentosa Bungy jump in Singapore has its launch pad erected on the 50-meter-high Skypark Sentosa Bungy tower.  Opened in 2018 at the Siloso Beach in Sentosa Island, the AJ Hackett Sentosa Bungy jump features high adrenaline events.

 Even though there are other AJ Hackett bungy jumps in other parts of Asia, in Singapore there is only one bungy jump at the Siloso Beach in Sentosa Island

A full range of Bungee Jump styles is possible at the Bungy Jump due to the design and position of the Jump Decks and overhead roof.

People at the launch deck enjoy the breeze from the sea and also enjoy the panoramic views of Sentosa Island. People can also view the beautiful sunset from atop the deck.

4. Jumpers Can Take A Dip into The Pool Below

To maximize the amount joy that can be derived from the AJ Hackett Sentosa Bungy Jump, there is a pool located at the base of the structure. Jumpers are given an opportunity to choose how they want to end their free fall.

Jumpers can choose to end their freefall with a dip into the pool below which is said to be a bonus at the bungee tower.

 Instructors adjust the cord to achieve the depth of the dip each jumper prefers.  The depth of the pool is 3.5 meters and as such jumpers have a wide range of depths to choose from.

5. Experienced Instructors Make the Experience Uneventful and Enjoyable

Experienced instructors at the AJ Hackett Sentosa Bungy Jump put jumpers who have a fear of heights and the first-timers at ease.

The instructors have a strict “no-push” policy which ensures jumpers who are uneasy do not get to jump when they are not ready psychologically.

Even though the bungy cords are simple in form their design is very complex.  To ensure quality is at peak at all times, each bungy cord is manufactured AJ Hackett experts called Jump Masters.

The cords are made of hundreds of strands of latex rubber which ensures when used in a jump they are stretched up to four times their lengths.

The cords can handle weights of up to 2.2 tones which is the average weight of an adult elephant and are changed regularly. In fact, only one third of a cord’s life is spend on jumping.

7. Clients Are Required to Disclose the Status of Their Health

Clients are required to disclose if they suffer from various ailments and medical conditions.

Some of these ailments or medical conditions include high blood pressure, heart conditions, diabetes, pregnancy, epilepsy, dislocations, neurological disorders and vertigo among others.

The above list is not exhaustive and so jumpers may be required to provide any other medical condition or ailment that they may suffer to enable management decide.

Through an independent trainer, crew members go through regular refresher courses to keep them on the cutting edge of the game. 

AJ Hackett developed The Code of Practice for Bungy Jumping AS/NZS 5848 in conjunction with the Australian and New Zealand Governments. The code of practice is used to guide the AJ Hackett Sentosa Bungy Jump operations.
