The Tokyo Skytree is a broadcasting tower that also offers observation. It began construction on 14th July 2008 taking four years until full completion on a leap year on the 29th of February 2012.

It was the tallest structure to be built with 15 floors. It was opened to the public on May 22 when visitors flooded an estimated 1.6 million people during the first week.

 Tokyo sky tree was designed to fulfill a historical design that was not coincidentally built to 634 meters that stands for Musashi.

The letters 6 stand for” mu”, 3 for “sa” and 4 for “shi “. musashi is the old name for the location the Skytree was built.

The structure also resembles a 5-story pagoda which is a Japanese architectural design used in Taiwan and other Asian countries this combination makes the Skytree unique.
