He has one younger brother, Nicholas Cowell, who is a television producer three half-brothers, John, Tony, and Michael Cowell; and a half-sister, June Cowell. Simon Cowell’s birth in England gave him a platform to launch his career.

2. 1980s – Cowell Begins His Career in Music Publishing
