The restaurant offers a 160-foot seafood buffet counter. There are also 15 different salads, hot entrees, and 40 different kinds of sushi. The dessert section has more than 20 different fruits and cakes.

2. Sufi Mediterranean Restaurant offers some of San Diego’s most authentic Persian cuisine

Sufi restaurant’s chic venue is located off Balboa Avenue. Its well-prepared meals and caring staff has earned it the good name it’s worthy of.

The restaurant’s quality standard is maintained in all the food items on the menu. Sufi’s can also cater to large groups of people and private events.

With its wide array, this is your go-to place for Middle Eastern food. Some of the recommended items include koobideh kebab, fresh Shirazi salad, and selections from the dessert options.

3. The Royal India restaurant will make you feel like royalty

This elegant restaurant with tall ceilings and regal décor from India will make you feel like royalty. The restaurant offers prime views of downtown and a waterfall that offers a serene ambiance. The Northern Indian cuisine presents a wide array to choose from.

Menu items include fresh tandoor-baked bread, tandoori kababs, and flavorful curries. To help make up your mind, you can visit during the lunch buffet or on Monday evenings. At these times, you will have more than 20 different buffet options to choose from.

4. At the 25 Forty Bistro and Bakehouse, you can eat pastries all-day

Owned by Chef Mark Pelliccia, 25 Forty Bistro and Bakehouse offers a relaxing ambiance for couples and friends. Pelliccia is very passionate about desserts and pastries.  He opened the restaurant so that he could use fresh ingredients in his menu items.

You can enjoy desserts and pastries all at the bistro. Some of the items to look out for at this modern feel bistro are Warm Chocolate Cake and Vanilla Custard Crepe.

5. Mapo Korean BBQ Cuisine includes all you can eat special

Located in one of the smaller strip malls in San Diego, is a restaurant with a fantastic Korean barbeque. The members of staff are warm and friendly and the food is mouth-watering.

The extensive menu includes a number of items such as spicy noodle bowls and seafood. You are also offered the option of grilling your entrees tableside.

Mapo Korean BBQ Cuisine includes an all-you-can-eat special. This is perfect for solo diners in search of a meal or for large gatherings of family or friends.

6. Nozomi Noodles and Teriyaki has an almost overwhelming array of foods to choose from

Nozomi is a charming Japanese sushi, noodles, and teriyaki eatery. It is located in a section with several other Korean restaurants. The menu options at Nozomi are quite extensive that they can seem a little overwhelming. 

The food items include hot pots, combo plates, fresh sushi, bento boxes, and specialty rolls. The menu changes daily and Nozomi also offers an all-you-can-eat special. Animal or flower shaped, the Nozomi rolls are presented in huge plates making them quite appealing.

The rolls also come garnished with different sauces and with an orchid. The dishes are quite generous in size and can be eaten by more than one person. The meals are also fresh and colorful.

7. Gourmet India is a father and son team serving authentic Indian cuisine

Located in one of the buildings on Fourth Avenue, Gourmet India is a culinary work of art. The father and son duo takes you on a culinary journey while you are still in San Diego.

The delicious meals include layers of flavor and mouth-watering aromas. Your journey into Indian cuisine will begin with sangrias, samosas, and amazing chicken tikka masala.

8. The Rei do Gado is a Brazilian eatery where modernity embraces tradition

Located in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter, Rei do Gado is a traditional Brazilian steakhouse. It has over 40 menu options for you to choose from. The food options include salads, slow-roasted cooked meats, and side additions.

Rei do Gado’s specialty is meat. Each table has a passador, or ‘meat waiter.’ This is the person who will slice the meat from the skewer and onto your plate. This eatery is definitely worth trying out.

9. India Palace offers you the option of traditional meals or more indulgent treats

Located at the shopping center at University and 7th Hillcrest’s India Palace offers an informally stylish dining experience. You will choose your place at the curved booths or round tables intimately placed for a better dining experience.

India Palace offers both lunch and dinner buffet options. The meals which boast Northern Indian cuisine have a wide array for you to choose from. The food items include Sag Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori options, and Rogan Josh.

You can enjoy the traditional options or indulge in Lobster Vindaloo, Tandoori Rack of Lamb, or Mango Scallops. You will be delighted by whichever option you select.

10. Bombay Restaurant is one of San Diego’s an award-winning restaurant

Bombay Restaurant has received a number of awards. The awards include ‘Best Indian Restaurant in San Diego’ and ‘Best Vegetarian Restaurant.’ These awards are from San Diego Magazine and AOL City Guide respectively.
