10 of the Best Mexican Restaurants in Miami

Miami is a major center and leader in finance, commerce, culture, arts, and international trade. The metro area is by far the largest urban economy in Florida

The cuisine of Miami is a reflection of its diverse population, with a heavy influence from Caribbean and Latin American cuisine.

By combining the two with American cuisine, it has spawned a unique South Florida style of cooking known as Floribbean cuisine.

Located on the Atlantic Ocean, and with a long history as a seaport, Miami is also known for its seafood, with many seafood restaurants located along the Miami River and in and around Biscayne Bay.

However, new spots to eat yourself into a taco-fueled food coma are popping up. It may still take a bit of digging, for you to discover the most authentic places.

Nevertheless, there are plenty of places to get your chips and salsa fix, from regular cantinas to chef-focused ventures.

We have created a list of 10 of the best Mexican restaurants in Miami.

Ranked as one of Miami鈥檚 best restaurants, Cantina is the city鈥檚 answer to the spate of high-end restaurants you might find in Mexican City.

The margaritas are stellar and the live mariachi band makes for a good time but the real reason you go to Cantina is chef Santiago Gomez鈥檚 food.
