Since 2020, the demand for books of every genre has grown. More people are developing a need for a good book. Due to the rise in demand, there have been more bookstores opening up in almost every corner. Some of the things that new bookstores have brought into the picture are aesthetics. I have noted that several aesthetically pleasing bookstores have come to eradicate the old ones. However, the old bookstores had a sense of fairytale that not many stores can capture. They felt like an escape from reality and that was the beautiful thing about them.

Bookstores in general can catapult you into a whole other world of fantasy, fiction, and drama, all while being in a homey environment. For the younger audience, Barnes & Noble has become the IT factor when being romance novels. As of 2022, it has over 624 retail stores across all 50 U.S. states. It has become the largest retail bookstore chain in the United States. 

All in all, bookstores allow us to discover and explore new books uniquely. It should be noted that the organization of a store makes it special and worthwhile. From what I have experienced, bookstores offer an emotional experience that brings people together around a love of books.

There are two Barnes & Noble locations in Las Vegas. Each offers a wide selection of books, magazines, and gifts. They also have a cafe where you can enjoy tea with your book. Even though it offers e-books, the entire environment of the bookstores is different. Barnes & Noble carries a wide variety of genres including fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, as well as motivational books. 

2. Dead Poet Bookstore

It is the largest used bookstore in Southern Nevada. It has been in business since 1994 and has been successful since. The store has a wide selection of used as well as rare books including fiction, nonfiction, fantasy, science fiction, romance, mystery, and horror. The Dead Poet Bookstore is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. It is known for its friendly staff, large selection of books, and reasonable prices.

It is a large bookstore chain with one location in Las Vegas and over 123 locations in 19 states. It offers a wide selection of used books, music, and movies at half the price thus the name. Even though it is not the ideal bookstore, it is still loved for having many genres of books at an affordable price. The store is loved by everyone who fancies a nice book but can’t afford the wholesale price. It should be noted that the store’s entire business is based on the sustainability of the books.
