The American Horror Story star told the People has been firm with her position under sexuality and gender identity as she feels there is no need to label herself. 鈥淎ll I can say is, I鈥檝e done both, and I don鈥檛 let either experience define me. I can meet a man tomorrow and fall in love with him and marry him and I wouldn鈥檛 discount any of the experiences that I鈥檝e had with women, or vice versa,鈥� she explained in the interview.

According to Paulson, one has full control of their life and must define who they are depending on their tastes and preferences. She is a strong-willed woman who walks by her rules and does not let society dictate the terms of living for her. 鈥淚鈥檝e always walked to the beat of my own drum,鈥� she said in the same interview with the People.

Before getting married to Taylor, the American Crime Story star was in love with Cherry Jones with whom they parted ways back in 2009.

When asked about her relationships, she explained why she would never let anyone decide what happens in her life.
