One of the best ramen restaurants in the area is located at 1336 14th St NW. The quality of the food is good and very flavorful, pleasant portions are given. Efficient customer service with friendly staff.

2. DAIKAYA Ramen Shop, DAIKAYA Izakaya

Their food is tasty! Their spicy miso is delicious. The staff is polite and attends to every customer promptly. A good place to stop because it has plenty of food.

3. Sakuramen Ramen Bar

It is located at 2441 18th St NW, Washington, DC 20009. Usually, noodle lovers can customize their soup bowls at this basement-level spot with a communal table.
 
This place has great and flavorful ramen. They also have a plainer broth featuring cheese, the Tonkotsu red, a creamier spicy broth featuring mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and more Shoki bowl that contains all the meats for a meat lover in one broth.
 
They also have gyoza, and pork belly buns. In addition, they offer a whole host of things to add to the ramen you select in case it isn’t already in there- such as mushrooms, egg, corn, and other add-ons.
 
4. Haikan

A great place to visit for a great experience from friendly and entertaining team service, to the amazing ramen. Everything is top-notch! The miso ramen with a spicy bomb and the mochi! Everything was excellent!
 
Give it a try for a great meal.  

5. Menya Hosaki

The ramen restaurant is situated at 845 Upshur St NW 1st Floor, Washington, DC 20011. Locals love visiting the place for the best Japanese foods and refer to it as a cozy venue for Japanese noodles!
 
They homemade the broth from scratch bringing out really nice taste of all the umami flavor released from bones after getting boiled for long hours.
 
Their menus are not many but they really specialize in making every single one of the ramen on the menu. The triple offer and spicy tonkotsu, and the broth are always delicious and rich, but not greasy.
 
They also offer chicken karaage which is very juicy and well-seasoned, paired well with their yuzu mayo.

6. Little Sesame

 
Located at 1828 L St NW, Washington, DC 20036, the restaurant offers delicious 
spice-crusted eggplant pita is 10/10; eggplant grilled/pan or a combination of crust.
 
They also provide breading, warm, delicious pickled cabbage, Schug, and tahini combination – kisses fingers, add a little egg for extra protein – perfect soft to the runny yolk. Their services are excellent!

7. Kaiju Ramen

The restaurant is situated at 525 8th SE STE 1, Washington, DC 20003.

Good vibe environment and decorated with many Japanese well-known figures, top shelves above the kitchen.
 
The Kaiju Nest Tempura is very crispy and fun to pull apart. The tako corn dog is just a piece of octopus wrapped inside corn dog batter, nothing too special. ‘
 
For ramen,  liquidy inside and good flavors. Both the chashu and the chicken, chewy and a bit on the dry side, are not juicy.
 
The noodles are the curly type and do not offer any other type of noodles.  For drinks, jelly sake is a refreshing citrus flavor with lots of jelly in it and goes well with ramen.
 
For dessert, the matcha cheesecake is average, not very smooth, The matcha creme brulee is silky smooth, not too sweet and there’s a subtle green tea taste to it.

8. Rakuya

The service here is excellent! It is a nice restaurant in the downtown Dupont Circle Area. Their chicken yakitori is excellent, gyoza dumplings, rice wraps, and sushi rolls. The California rolls are also great!
 
The California roll are great, the spicy tuna roll was good, and the shrimp and avocado roll is quite yummy. 
 
9. Toki Underground
The restaurant is situated at 1234 H St NE, Washington DC. It is a true hole-in-the-wall. on a recent trip to DC. They have tasty pork cheek protein. Their broth is complex and has a great depth of flavor.
 
10. Wok&Roll
 
It is situated in a wonderful location steps away from the metro. Their food is very delicious! drinks as well. 
 
The ramen restaurants in the whole of Washington D.C. have delicious food that visitors and also the locals enjoy. They make visitors happy and long to visit again.
 
The menus are chock full of delicious choices. Going through the menu, one has many choices, at times, it feels like you could order one of everything.
 
The waiters are friendly and helpful with the choices because many times, visitors are totally clueless! The bomb is the Tan Tan Men ramen! The broth is usually thick and rich, and they are able to kick up the spices a notch by request. 
 
A mixture of sliced pork or ground pork with a mix of a TON of noodles, and far fewer veggies a little bite in every scoop makes a delicious dinner. 
 
However, there are instances where hunks of bok choy spice up the meal!

Research is necessary as some of the ramen restaurants are not as cheap! Having an open mind and focusing on what one is really up to is advisable. However, D.C. ramen restaurants are a great place worth a visit.
