The Griffin

If you want a break from the Strip area hype, this spot in Fremont is a great pick, and here’s why. The décor makes for a cozy, dimly lit, divey, lounge atmosphere, and the low live music drifts you away as you sip your cocktail on a quiet afternoon. It has an open although relatively small, seating area with soft seats, and you almost feel like you’re in an old comfy house in the 80s.

The aesthetic, to say the least, is what makes the Griffin rather a unique pick in the area. They have indoor fire pits too! Imagine just sipping beer by the pits on a cold night! Quite intimate. Although not exclusively lesbian, the bar welcomes people of all sexual orientations, being an LGBTQ-friendly space. They have a jukebox too, so request your song while at it. Prices here are pretty affordable, but the drinks are strong enough.
