Where to Sing Karaoke in Lisbon

The Viking Bar is a 鈥榯ake it or leave it鈥� kind of place, you either love it or you hate it. Many dislike the fact that patrons are permitted to smoke inside, and that you鈥檒l leave smelling like a bit of an ashtray. Drinks are also slightly pricier compared to other bars in the area.

The vibe, however, is always light and always fun. They embrace throwback classics in their music choices each evening, ranging between the 80s and 90s.

Bairro Alto is an enigma of a place in Lisbon. A free guided walking tour through these very narrow, very historic streets is an absolute must for anyone wanting to properly experience the appeal of this city.

There are many an Irish pub around Lisbon. The Irish are known for being a karaoke loving people, so these are usually reliable spots to head to when the craving sets in.

The Corner Irish Pub is the only one of its kind in this part of the city and draws in massive crowds on Saturdays and Wednesdays when karaoke takes place. Because it鈥檚 quite small, as the streets outside are quite tiny as well, everyone from the street is brought into the commotion.

Friends Bairro Alto in Lisbon

Friends is a welcoming little bar also situated in the streets of Bairro Alto. It prides itself on being a space where everyone is invited, particularly the LQBTQ+ community.

Like most of the bars in Bairro Alto, Friends is a simply space with good cocktails, fun music and (unfortunately) smoking permitted indoors.

Friends usually does spontaneous karaoke evenings once a week, with the exact day to be stipulated a few days prior. You can check with their social media pages to determine when the next one will be or call them directly.
