This happened after testing a fertility drug that he was developing together with his colleague. The movie takes on the theme of absurdity very well and is also quite entertaining if you dig that kind of screenplay.

6. Baby Mama (2008)

In this comedic movie, the female lead is an uptight, single executive who hires a working-class woman hailing from Philly to be her surrogate. She then discovers that the woman carrying her child needs a place to stay and when she offers her a solution, that鈥檚 when their personalities clash in a hilarious turn of events. With this movie, be sure to be met with comedic and funny performances and blatant entertainment from this odd duo.

7. The Business of Being Born (2008)

Thus one is a bit different as it is a politically charged documentary that exposes the business model that typically guides hospitals and influences the birth experiences of women across the U.S. It is clear that the filmmaker of this movie prefers natural births. However, the valuable message here is that expectant mothers should adamantly advocate for their rights and bodily autonomy through pregnancy and childbirth regardless of their birth plan.

The playboy has to confront his fear of commitment or lose his girlfriend. This rom-com unfortunately feeds on the stereotypes about immature men and hence highly predictable but that doesn鈥檛 make it less interesting and watchable.  It is funny and witty and most importantly, a happy ending. 11. 40 Weeks (2014)

With a runtime of 111 minutes, 鈥40 Weeks,鈥 takes a dive into the prenatal world with this documentary that boasts of raw and intimate interviews with women at every week of their pregnancy. The documentary is a great choice for expectant parents who have read all weekly reports there are about babies but still find them lacking and want something juicier and more relatable and realistic.

Another perfect pregnancy movie, this one released in 2018 is perfect for women who have experienced the extra strain of pregnancy and birth while simultaneously caring for older children. It tells the story of a woman who is an overworked mom who is struggling with postpartum depression and the special friendship she develops with Tully. Tully is the night nanny who arrives on the scene to help out.

13. The Back-up Plan (2010)

The legendary J-Lo stars in this movie. She plays the role of a woman who at the brink of her biological clock conceives twins via artificial insemination but then finds true love as soon as the deed is done.
