He is by far the most famous Michael that ever lived and was even nicknamed the King of Pop. The American singer, songwriter and dancer was born in 1959 in Gary, Indiana. Michael Jackson ran the entertainment scene in the early to mid-1980s. the musician started his music career at the tender age of 5 after being encouraged by his father who was also a musician. He came from a family of ten siblings who were also in the music industry. Together with his siblings, they formed the Jackson 5, a musical group that released hit songs and placed him in the limelight.

The musician later launched his solo career which did very well and became a hit on the Billboard charts. His life was filled with controversy as a result of his lifestyle, behaviour, relationships and changing appearances. The musician died in 2009 from a propofol overdose that had been administered by his personal physician. Even though he is dead, his legacy as the pioneer of contemporary pop and iconic dances lives on.

2 Michael Jordan

The former basketball player is one of the most iconic people in the field of basketball. He even has a biography in the National Basketball Association recognizing him as the greatest basketball player of all time. While playing as a basketball player, he played fifteen seasons of the NBA for the Chicago Bulls and out of them he won six NBA championships. His statistics show that he was a great basketball player.

He started playing for the Chicago Bulls in 1984 after successfully leading the United States Basketball Team to the Olympics and winning gold medals in 1984. The player had a successful career and even after he retired, he did not completely leave the scene as he bought a share of the Washington Wizards and was also appointed as the President of the club’s basketball operations. Michael Jordan is also an accomplished businessman.

The American producer, director and actor was born in 1987 in California. He has had a successful career in film as he has been cast in several high-profile movies and television series. He started his career as a child model before moving on and appearing in an episode of The Sopranos and Black and White. His first major role was Fruitvale Station. The film received an Audience Award for the U.S. Dramatic Film and a Grand Jury Prize. He has also featured in several other films including Creed released in 2015, Awkward Moment, Chronicle, Red Stalls and Black Panther.

4 Michael Phelps

The United States swimmer was born in Baltimore in 1985. He is the most decorated Olympian of all time and as a result regarded as the greatest of all time bypassing legends like Usain Bolt, Nadia Comaneci and Carl Lewis. He got his big break when he was cast in a television comedy series known as Working Stiffs which was released in 1979.

He was born to a father who was a Polish immigrant and worked as a bookkeeper while his mother worked as a secretary. He got his first job at Solomon Brothers investment bank and worked his way up to become a partner in 15 years.

He has had a successful career having won an Academy Award in 2002 for the Best Documentary Feature for the Bowling for Columbine which explored the gun culture in the United States. His other work The War on Terror became the highest-grossing documentary of all time while his documentary known as Sicko what among the highest-grossing documentaries in 2020. Throughout the course of his career, he has appeared in more than one hundred and sixty films. He has also received several awards including three Golden Globe Awards, two Academy Awards, a BAFTA Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award. He was also knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2000 for the contributions he has made to the entertainment industry

10 Michael J. Fox

The Canadian-American actor was born in Edmonton, Alberta in 1961. He started his career in the 1970s and rose to prominence after being cast as Alex Keaton in an NBC sitcom known as Family Ties. The actor had a successful career and starred in several films including Spin City, Teen Wolf, The Secret of my Success and Doc Hollywood. He has also won several awards including four Golden Globe Awards, five Primetime Emmy Awards and a Grammy Award.
